Date News Posted: October 15, 2006

Today, October the 14th (Saturday) is another bad day for Country Music, Freddy Fender has passed away.  When we heard he had nine tumors when they took a look inside him a few weeks ago we knew it didn’t look good.

So Long Freddy, you and your music will be missed.

As you probably know Johnny Duncan passed away a few weeks ago, Johnny had some great hits like “She Can Put Her Shoes” “Thinking Of A Rendezvous” and the list goes on.

Any of you fans that were and are a fan of the great Clint Walker, all we can tell you right now is his music and his movies are being re-released and will be followed with some new CDs and in case you hadn’t heard, Clint is a whale of a writer of western tales and other good stuff.

Now the very best way to read more about Clint and to find out what he has new, and how to get CDs, pictures and where to get his movies is just bring up his web site, your Google search engine can have him on your screen in seconds.

Our old friend Walkin’ Charley Aldridge is Clint’s side kick he does some producing for him he lays down musical tracks for the big man and writes some of his arrangements, so keep up with what Charley’s doing and it won’t be long before Charley’s own book will hit the news stands and I can promise you if the old west is apart of your heart, this book will fill a hole about some things you had always wondered about.

Now we have some brand new CDs to add to our catalog but we’re not, what we are going to do is list them here and you will have an opportunity to buy them (or not) ‘till the next country music web site news comes out.

These will not be available by credit card, just check or money order there will be nothing extra for postage or handling and they will be shipped the “Same Day” the order is received.

What we can tell you is they are listed for a lot less then some of the country music catalogs you have been getting in the mail.

So what ever ones you want, just add it up and send a check or a money order to: Bradley Brothers Records, Box 1515- Simi Valley, Ca. 93062.  By the way we have only had two addresses in the past 40 years so we ain’t a goin’ nowhere.

We are not going to list all the songs in the album, just the title of the album otherwise it would take 40 pages of writing but if you see an album you want and do want to know the songs included in it here is all you have to do.

Our email address is donbradley@countryclassics.com and just say, what’s in the album titled ****** by Merle Haggard or who ever it is and we will have that information back to you PDQ.
